The only people that care about the console wars are the same people that can
end the console wars.
In lieu of that luxury, once I reached the sixth generation, I noticed that I began to lean more on one side of the inevitable and never -
ending console war than the other.
However, I severely doubt it will even cause a dent to Sony other than bruise a few fanboy feelings in the never -
ending console war that rages on the internet (and at my local gym would you believe).

War 5 to close it out and then Phil Spencer will come on stage and say: «We've shown you today that we have the best in class first - party developers working on exclusive games for the most power
console ever, we've shown you we have support from third - party developers which have chosen to showcase their games for the most powerful
console.
But due to the fact that they have been hyping it to oblivion (like halo 5's campaign) before it came out and
ended up being controversial because they didn't deliver... just like the order 1886... but you don't see people going around spreading excuses saying that people hate it because it's on ps4... they just weren't so good games... simple as that... If you want a
console war take a ps4 and an Xbox one and start smacking them with one another and the one that works after that is the winner....
While God of
War 3 left us with a massive cliffhanger of an
ending for a whole generation of
consoles, it will finally be good to see a new style of Kratos and going away from the typical hack and slash formula that the series was once famous for and adopting a more calculated approach towards combat.

War 4 proves the sheer genius of the Xbox engineering team, allowing

ended up winning two straight rounds in Tap Runner — I blame the Mega Drive and X360's hard cases.

wars on the web, no one predicted that the Wii would
end up very nearly selling more
consoles than both of them combined.
This was a time before the 16 - bit

end, it's important to remember that this is going to be a very long

Wars Battlefront's release, EA made noises that it was thinking about doing away with the traditional season pass that accompanied its big ticket
console games, a model its multiplayer shooters had been stuck with for some time - with numerous associated problems.
But, what each
war needs is someone to look through the positives and negatives of each contender, and as we reach the
end of another
console generation, I bravely step forward, pushing aside my own opinion to do just that.
Gaijin Entertainment have announced that their MMO title,
War Thunder will be coming to Sony's upcoming next - gen
console, PlayStation 4 before the
end of 2013.
Firstly, the reason why the
console war is so pointless is because, in the
end, there really isn't much difference between the two major
consoles and PCs that makes buying one or the other a big deal.
One could say the
console wars ended in 2013, and the Xbox One never recovered fully.
That means you can enjoy exclusives such as Cuphead and Forza Motorsport 7, big third - party hits like Shadow of
War and Wolfenstein 2, and hundreds of backwards compatible Xbox 360 and Xbox games without having to shell out $ 499 for Microsoft's highest -
end console.
