end, they just couldn't get a key bucket in the closing moments and it allowed
Team Maione to get their 11th W of the season..
Team Maione needed to focus many Players on him on the Defensive
End and it really opened things up for everyone else..
Team Maione was as hot as we've seen them in 2016 (which is a lot of Games dating back to the Chicago Hoops League) To be fair, these guys were missing key contributors on the offensive
end, and if you're going to compete with
Maione, you need a lot of offense.
These two
teams know each other very well from their years in the Chicago Hoops League, and
Team Maione was able to seamlessly apply pressure on offense and prevent anything easy on the defensive
end.
While neither
team was able to climb as high as they would have liked in the Standings by season's
end, both were able to snag a win over one of the top two contenders,
Teams Maione and Valvassori.
