endorsed Deacon.
Gillibrand and U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer (D - N.Y.) have also
endorsed Deacon.
Miner said
she endorsed Deacon because she is most familiar with the needs of the people of Syracuse and will be the best opponent against Rep. John Katko (R - Camillus), according to a press release from Deacon's campaign manager.
Miner is the third prominent Democrat to
endorse Deacon, who is a former top aide to U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D - N.Y.) and a former Syracuse City Hall employee.
Williams said he will
endorse Deacon in her campaign against Republican incumbent John Katko.
Kunzwiler is the first local official in the 24th Congressional District to publicly
endorse Deacon, who previously worked as U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand's central New York regional director and served as former Syracuse Mayor Matt Driscoll's press secretary.
