Killing off
enemies in rooms usually gives players money in the form of bullet shells, while some rooms also contain chests, which when unlocked with a key grant new, random weaponry (there's about 190 guns in the game) and new items (about 200 of them) that can grant a number of active or passive abilities, like grenades, extra health, faster bullets, etc..
