This
scanner reads generic, manufacturer, and pending
codes turns off the MIL light (check
engine), and views freeze frame data.
If I drive it, it lacks power, and after few hickups, some cylinder will misfire and I get the anti-slide and
engine light lit and lose all power until I park and reset the error
codes with OBDII
scanner.
@Bart The problem is, until he posts the results of an OBD scan (don't need to drive the car anywhere, many OBD
scanners that show
codes are available for cheap), we can't be sure if he's having a seizing AC compressor or a misfiring
engine or anything else.
when I hook my
scanner up to view the check
engine codes it says I have no power to my
scanner.
