Android 8.1 brings some welcome refinements to Oreo, including reducing the storage footprint of inactive apps,
enhanced autofill capabilities like saving login credentials for various apps and the activation of the special «Visual Core» image - processing chip in the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
And Google's software will better be able to remember logins and passwords thanks to
enhanced autofill functions.
Along with bug fixes, this preview includes new APIs that allow password managers to
enhance the Autofill user experience using better dataset filtering, input sanitization, compatibility mode, and more.
