If the
short had a
little more breathing room it could have been more
enjoyable and less awkward with its delivery.
Despite being a
short game with some fiddly controls,
Little Nightmares is still an
enjoyable experience.
While it ticks all the boxes of a nostalgic trip, it unfortunately falls
short with too many
little issues getting in the way of what could of been a more
enjoyable experience than it ended up being.
Sure, the controls can be a
little clunky at times, especially falling
short distances that make you take damage, bumping into things in close quarters or when things are located too close together but overall, the gameplay mechanics work well which is the reason why this game is so
enjoyable to play.
It is one game I would recommend for the
little ones in your life, and even as an adult an
enjoyable experience for at least a
short amount of time, but if you are a hardcore gamer after thrills, you make want to look elsewhere.
The ship has almost certainly sailed in regards to the multiplayer, but thankfully the single player campaign is an
enjoyable affair, if a
little short and generic in terms of mechanics.
