With Arsenal, Pato would simply flourish, as players like Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and co. would create
enough chances for the striker to tuck away.

d term» world class» is used loosely... giroud is a good
striker but showed y he can't b trusted as our no9... missed easier
chance but still scored... don't care if u sai he's not good
enough but since he plays
for AFC, I'll cheer him on
for France 24/7... when he's at arsenal, plays like a donkey and he turns to s ** troud, then I'll change my tune... OT, did u see pogba??? believe he has gotten carried with d hype «golden boy of France»....
Welbeck as a
striker costed us the title while giroud was out injured, if it was not
for those girue goals after the injury we could not finish in top four however he is not good
enough to win the title
for us, I think akpom and Walcott have it all that we are lacking in girue Wenger should give them a
chance, otherwise if we can get aubemayang I can bet my manson on wining the title he can play anywhere in front attack and scored 25goals from the wing
Bendtner or Chamakh would still have been considered average even if they scored 25goals because they had average talent.
For all the potential Bendtner had he never maximised it so as long asit wasn't developed he's still average.I mean it's possoble
for an average player to score 25 goals when given the
chances and possible
for a world class
striker to score less than that.Quality is a talent which may be linked to stats but does not necessarily show on stats.Take Ox
for example, if you looked at his stats you might think he's average but he's not.Look at Lukaku, he's scored many goals
for Everton yetmany people here think he's not gpod
enough for Arsenal because they look at the quality and talent andnot just the goals.
I have been reading comments of fans on here, especially those who have chosen to appreciate the average in ability that a
striker like giroud possess, my question
for ya all is, when did arsenal become a team so low on profile to sing praise of a
striker who no one can rank among the top 3
striker in the league, I have seen an arsenal team with a striking force with players like, anelka, Wright, Henry, v persie, no one can rank giroud or whatever his name is in the category of my mentioned
strikers.we all have got to face it, giroud is not good
enough to be leading the attack of a team dreaming of winning the league, and Henry is right saying arsenal can't win the league with giroud as our
striker,,, check this out, man u won league titles with
strikers like Rooney, van nisteroy, v persie, man city won with aguero, Chelsea with drogba and now Costa, giroud stand no
chance against any of those.let's stop appreciating mediocrity, wenger should get us a good
striker as giroud is damn too average
for arsenal
as
for the article, true... we are strong
enough everywhere accept
striker, how to compete when you are not consistent at taking legitimate
chances from the
striker?
What is our strategy
for a
Striker we know Giroud and what he can do and it is not good
enough, we can give a
chance to Welbeck or Theo but that is risky too as they have been given
chances before.
For me he hasn't worked hard
enough or done his due dillegance and taken advantage of the opportunities that his been awarded (he literally in the past 2 years is the only
striker, who can walk straight into a starting line up) he sits in front of one of the best attacking line ups in the world and its not like
chances aren't being created, he just can't put them away....
I've had
enough of this crap, look I honesty do think giroud is a good
striker and he is a fairly consistant goal scorer, and every time he played
for arsenal he gave 100 percent and I think we all appreciated the way he was, a true professional, but to say we as fans were too critical of him or that he didn't have
enough of a
chance at arsenal is just absolute bullshit, first of all he has scored more headed goals than any other player in the prem since he arrived in 2012 so we did play to his strengths and he was our main
striker for four long years and every pundit on sky and motd has at one point said Giroud is not
enough for arsenal to win the title ect, but, now we have sold him he is apparently the best thing since sliced bread and the best buy of the transfer window blah blah fuc * # * g blah.
Vidal is a must
for us, Vidal next 2 De» coq would destroy the EPL, let the likes of Arteta and flamini leave, upfront new
striker and we are good 2 go OT: if Gnabry gets
enough chances he will blossom, his Germanys next start.......
GOONSTER Yes your right we did have some great players in the past and why not now??? If you think we could win the legue with this squad with NO
striker then your deluded I'm hoping that AW will buy quality
striker and more otherwise our hopes of wining the legue is almost impossible and as
for CL no
chance but all it takes is to buy couple of more right players we have more than
enough funds in the bank so why why why not????? Is it because if Arsen buys quality players then there is no exuse
for not wining trophies, I still belive in Wanger but I think his scared of controlling world class players so he goes
for neede players or with injury history.
Each time I watch our
strikers waste
chances I find it hard to rebuke them because I have played the game while in the secondary school where I got to know that if your effort was not
enough to earn your team a goal but you were applauded
for the effort you put in........
He was in front of Lukaku when a Rashford ball looped towards him
for what should have been a good
chance, but though the defender didn't get anything on the ball, he did
enough to distract the
striker and see him miss it.
That game highlighted many problems
for Mourinho, and after that he went to a more defensive approach, because he didn't trust his
strikers to finish
enough chances.
Meanwhile, Wenger and his merry men have been searching the globe
for a prolific
striker clinical
enough to finish all the
chances created but at the usual market stall prices.
Redknapp has an embarrassment of riches at his disposal, most notably in the forward department, and with the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon all in prolific form when it comes to creating
chances, and Jermaine Defoe, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Peter Crouch all top - rate
strikers which give defender's something different to think about, there should be
enough fire - power and variety in this Spurs side to cause Blackpool all sorts of problems at the back should the hosts decide to open up and go
for the throat of Spurs early on.
Uganda
striker Derrick Nsibambi missed the
chance of the day as his header on the 64th minute was not
enough to make it 1 - 0
for the home side.
