A powerhouse like the McLaren P1 is challenging
enough to drive in its own right, but when you combine that with an event held at night and
during a thunderstorm, where your only visibility comes from the few metres in - front of you that your headlights illuminate, and that's only in - between the moments that your wipers clear the
heavy rain droplets from your windshield, that you experience true difficulty.
Codemaster's have massively upgraded the visuals but they've improved them
enough that F1 2016 can look rather pretty at times, especially
during heavy rain where the lighting gets to show off its wares a little.
Some situations that occur in flood - prone areas include: 1) the diameter of the sewer pipe is not sufficient to hold all of the water flow
during a
heavy storm event; 2) the gradient of the sewer pipe is not steep
enough to allow water flow at the same rate as the
rain; and 3) heavily paved areas do not allow water to absorb into the ground, forcing more water into sewers.
