receiving enough essential nutrients) during the second and third trimesters was associated with affective disorders in the offspring when they were 18 years and older (Brown et al. 2000).
Skipping meals and not
getting enough essential nutrients will mess up your hormones, slow down your metabolism, wreak havoc on your energy and sabotage the results you should be able to achieve.
However, once again, care should be taken to ensure that
enough essential nutrients are being consumed during the feeding window to make sure health and fitness maintained.
