We have
enough goals in our team just imagine this guaranteed amount of goals.
For me it is super simple; we don't have
enough goals in the team.

100 % true King Henry was correct, Giroud must be 2nd choice striker to come on when we want to change our game plan, he's not good
enough to lead us to the EPL because a premiership winning
team always has a 20 league
goals striker
in their ranks!
Giroud seemed not capable of doing those, his fricks, backheels, and hold up play are so good but not
enough when playing with a
team having 11 players
in their own
goal and i think this is where the King got it all.
If Wenger can't be motivated
enough to take some revenge on Mourinho, not even for the sake of the fans, after 12 losses... If his can ship 17
goals in 3 games against top level opposition and still continue with a similar approach to games, then I don't know what will ever really drive this guy to overhaul his tactical approach to compete more fiercely against big
teams...
You do have a point and I can not honestly disagree with that but with figure like Cech I would like to think that we'd have more confidence going forward and pinning back
teams, watch Sczezny, he almost deliberately invites attacks to show off his reflexes, Ospina came
in and cut that crap especially by constantly organizing his defense but physically not built up
enough for a world class goalkeeper, we lost three points to Swansea for that reason [Befitimbi Gomis»

obviously I would prefer to have a much more suitable alternative
in the defensive midfielder positions but if they focused more on defensive end and the occasional long - ball, this would allow Bellerin and Sead ample opportunities to bomb forward on their respective wings while still having
enough cover to maintain their defensive shape... it would likewise allow for overlapping runs on both wings, thereby letting both Sanchez and Perez to cut inside and get shots away
in and around the top of the box with their most dominant feet... if
goals were needed I would sub Bellerin for OX and bring Ramsey
in for Elneny then switch to a 3 -2-4-1 (more of a 3 -1-5-1 with Ramsey playing higher up the pitch) and I would only use Giroud as a sub when the game dictated it for tactical reasons... this would allow us to be a high energy
team with incredible link - up play and a much more direct approach
in the offensive end
But we would give the likes of Szczesny how many chances as ours FIRST
TEAM keeper and even now we are debating between selling him (4/5 season as number 1 keeper where he has made countless unforced errors leading to
goals conceded) or Ospina (who has been with us ONE season and put
in a decent shift good
enough to be Cech backup
in my view)
Why so many articles about Wilshere? Is he a Messi or something we can't live without? Why is this guy so important for Arsenal, what special thinks he did for the
team in the last 6 - 7 years?Just because he's a» darling» of supporters?Trying to secure a place

Ozil was very ineffective
in that no10 role, he doesn't get
in between the lines, hes a good passer but he doesn't go past players at will and hes very 1 footed, he doesn't score
enough goals to be a no10
in a League or CL winning
team, i think we need either Cazorla or maybe Sanchez or even Chamberlain
in that role
in seasons to come, Ozil will have to play wide coming
in the way Messi did for Barca this season
Even that would have been
enough to see Arsenal stay second
in the table, if only on
goal difference, but the home
team were not done and they stunned the scousers with a late winner.
Yes we can score
goals, just like every other football
team in the world, but can we score
enough?
Even though the Mexico international scored seven
goals and grabbed four assists
in 859 minutes of La Liga action with Los Blancos, he doesn't appear to have done
enough to earn a place
in van Gaal's first
team plans.
The game of trying to drop the kick
in between the 5 and the
goal line and force the other
team to return it while you attempt get them behind the 25 yard line does not seem to work consistently
enough to make up for the kicks out of bounds, kicks that don't go far
enough, and times when the coverage doesn't get the guy down short of the 25, and the injury risk that is being taken by covering the play.
Sure, he would still be able to bang
in some
goals for us, but i would rather have someone like Dybala or Lacazette, who both are more than good

team (at least a lot better than Welbeck to rotate with Giroud on top)
Ramsey

Welbeck scored 4 league
goals in 25 games which is clearly not good
enough for a player with Premier League experience — playing
in a
team that wants to win the Premier League.
Mertz should never have been our captain
in the first place... who has ever heard of a
team that makes 11th hour transfer buys (Arteta & Mertz) then seemingly places those same individuals into prominent leadership positions from the get - go... indicative of the problems that have permeated our clubhouse for the better part of 7 years under the Kroenke & Wenger... what is wrong with the players chosen and / or the management style of Wenger that doesn't develop and / or encourage strong leadership from within... Mertz was the fine collecting lackey from year one... this is what happens when you don't get world - class players because many times they want to have a voice on and off the pitch and this can't happen when you play for a fragile manager who has developed a coddling wage structure where everyone is rewarded for simply wearing the shirt and participating
in the process... not
enough balance between performance and pay, combined with the obvious favoritism shown to some players regardless of their glaring lack of production... remember that Ramsey has played
in positions that make no sense considering his skill - set (out wide) and has forced other players off the field or into equally unfamiliar positions with little or no justification (let's remember when you read articles about how Ramsey's
goals this upcoming season being the potential X-factor for our success that this is the same individual who didn't score a
goal until the final week last season)... this of course is just one example of many... before I hear another word from Mertz I want this club to address the fact that no former player of any real consequence has any important role
in the management structure of this club, yet several former Gunners have expressed serious interest
in just such an endeavor (Henry, Viera, Adams, Bergkamp... just to name a few legends)... there is only one answer: an extremely insecure manager!!!
plus Ramsey can give us
goals when he is on song vidal isn't a big
goal getter from the middle just gives you a lot more energy and bite to take the game
in the middle (not forward) to the other
team, but we have
enough players that do that so for the price and requirements we need meeting i must say i am out on this one.
The stats show that Cech has the highest save percentage
in the Premier League and while that does hint that the Arsenal back four might not be protecting him well
enough, there are plenty of
teams that have allowed more shots on
goal.
Player ratings GK - 5 not much to do looked a bit shaky on crosses Bel - 6 got forward but poor crossing Mon - 7 did ok but impact for the

What will stick
in the mind about this Chelsea
team is that they were a mess on the point of elimination three times — after the first leg
in Naples; after the first
goal in Barcelona; after the first
goal in Munich — and yet they somehow found a way to do
enough each time.
My concern with Ozil is you can not be paying him because he is just a provider of assist, he must be also seen
in the
teams defensive shape and he must be a provider of
goals, 9
goals is just not good
enough
Was it Ospina's fault to not clear the cross or let the opposition striker get upon yourselves to head the ball
in the net... No our defenders couldn't defend that
in first place... Even though Ospina tried to push the ball out of the net... but we were just unlucky... because it went inside... And
goal line technology reported it as a
goal... We were wasteful against the opposition
goal... fair
enough, it happens, but how come the players suddenly become useless for the
team...
We were not clinical
enough in front of
goal, had the wrong
team setup.
i have read that he is not scared to get rid of the coach of his
teams if they are not performing to the winning
goals they set so josh kronke on the board (if he gets
enough support) could the king maker and breaker for wenger reign, he might just be what we need on the board someone who is more worried about how successful we should be also with wenger talking so openly about his successor and what he is leaving him behind, this is not very wenger like at all could be another indicator of things to come
in the summer maybe we will have to see.
Filipe Luis has scored his first
goal for Chelsea and it's a beauty... will this be
enough to earn a run
in Jose Mourinho's first
team?
Even if a sloppy pass or a momentary lack of focus leads to a
goal there should be
enough attacking ability
in the Arsenal
team to get away with it, as we did last weekend, but I do think it is a concern and especially so
in a big game like the one coming up at Man City.
We need to change some players, even if they are good players to make our game more dinamic, more complete. If Walcott will leave, definetly Sterling is the right choose to play with Sanchez. If Bayern will want Ozil, I think we should let him go.I think mutch people will be not agree with this, Ozil is a great player BUT is not a complete player, doesn't have
enough speed and is seems sometimes like he is not involved
in the game.I think a switch with Gotze can be benefic for our
team, he run alot, is creative and make the defensive as well.We need a Striker to, but a good one, someone like Benzema or Cavani, someome who can get at least 20
goals per season.A new DM is what we need for balance the game, I think Vidal is the best
in the world
in this moment (is just my opinion), he working hard
in defence and can win a game with a long shot. This is the way I see footbal.
The
team is strong
enough now to be able to challenge for the title but to actually win it and do well
in Champions League, we need a world class
goal scorer (either a winger or a striker depending on the plan for Walcott).
My honest opinion Jenko is not good
enough, he can not make it
in West Ham's first
team regular and has scored own
goals, got a few red cards and has not had a good run this last 2 seasons..
Ozil can create all the chances he likes our strikers are not just good
enough plus Ozil himself needs to improve on his
goal contribution (a natural number 10 can work
in a
team like City, Madrid or Barca because they have WC forwards who burry the chances created and have a good
goal return not at Arsenal).
Giroud just is not good
enough and thats the facts here, we would have been three
goals up with a real world class striker, regardless of Ozil and sanchez current form if we had brought
in a real DM player then we'd have won points at other games and this would be just a blip,
teams do loose games and they do have off days, the real problem lays
in the fact that Wenger has no real top notch choices to mix and match with is he has slumps with his current squad.
I believe Ramsey is mature
enough to realize the
team's striking problems, and that
in recent matches they only had one striker up front (Sanchez) to depend on for
goals.
Not expert
enough against top
teams who love his reading of game so much they put a shit load of
goals passed him... It's not just that's he is slow it's also because he is one of the worst distributors of a ball I have seen
in top flight football... Just watch his passing to players with no option but to boot loose ball or pass back... It is truly shocking... so yes unless you're a 4th place junkie mert should be a bench player just like for Germany
in World Cup
The most dangerous player
in the air and the scorer of most headed
goals in the Epl... na na na Giroud Indeed, you are right too many of them are yet to really maximise that potential... the
team hasn't achieved
enough... it will be good if they can start by sending Barca out of the CL... Yes!its possible....
This is an incredibly difficult question to answer for a variety of reasons, most importantly because over the years our once vaunted «beautiful» style of play has become a shadow of it's former self, only to be replaced by a less than stellar «plug and play» mentality where players play out of position and adjustments / substitutions are rarely forthcoming before the 75th minute... if you look at our current players, very few would make sense
in the traditional Wengerian system... at present, we don't have the personnel to move the ball quickly from deep - lying position, efficient one touch midfielders that can make the necessary through balls or the disciplined and pacey forwards to stretch defences into wide positions, without the aid of the backs coming up into the final 3rd, so that we can attack the defensive lanes
in the same clinical fashion we did years ago... on this current squad, we have only 1 central defender on staf, Mustafi, who seems to have any prowess
in the offensive zone or who can even pass two zones through so that we can advance play quickly out of our own end (I have seen some inklings that suggest Holding might have some offensive qualities but too early to tell)... unfortunately Mustafi has a tendency to get himself
in trouble when he gets overly aggressive on the ball... from our backs out wide, we've seen pace from the likes of Bellerin and Gibbs and the spirited albeit offensively stunted play of Monreal, but none of these players possess the skill - set required
in the offensive zone for the new Wenger scheme which requires deft touches, timely runs to the baseline and consistent crossing, especially when Giroud was playing and his ratio of scored
goals per clear chances was relatively low (better last year though)... obviously I like Bellerin's future prospects, as you can't teach pace, but I do worry that he regressed last season, which was obvious to Wenger because there was no way he would have used Ox as the right side wing - back so often knowing that Barcelona could come calling
in the off - season, if he thought otherwise... as for our midfielders, not a single one, minus the more confident Xhaka I watched played for the Swiss national
team a couple years ago, who truly makes sense under the traditional Wenger model... Ramsey holds onto the ball too long, gives the ball away cheaply far too often and abandons his defensive responsibilities on a regular basis (doesn't score
enough recently to justify): that being said, I've always thought he does possess a little something special, unfortunately he thinks so too... Xhaka is a little too slow to ever boss the midfield and he tends to telegraph his one true strength, his long ball play: although I must admit he did get a bit better during some points
in the latter part of last season... it always made me wonder why whenever he played with Coq Wenger always seemed to play Francis
in a more advanced role on the pitch... as for Coq, he is way too reckless at the wrong times and has exhibited little offensive prowess yet finds himself
in and around the box far too often... let's face it Wenger was ready to throw him
in the trash heap when injuries forced him to use Francis and then he had the nerve to act like this was all part of a bigger Wenger constructed plan... he like Ramsey, Xhaka and Elneny don't offer the skills necessary to satisfy the quick transitory nature of our old offensive scheme or the stout defensive mindset needed to protect the defensive zone so that our offensive players can remain aggressive
in the final third... on the front end, we have Ozil, a player of immense skill but stunted by his physical demeanor that tends to offend, the fact that he's been played out of position far too many times since arriving and that the players
in front of him, minus Sanchez, make little to no sense considering what he has to offer (especially Giroud); just think about the quick counter-attack offence
in Real or the space and protection he receives
in the German National
team's midfield, where
teams couldn't afford to focus too heavily on one individual... this player was a passing «specialist» long before he arrived
in North London, so only an arrogant or ignorant individual would try to reinvent the wheel and / or not surround such a talent with the necessary components...
in regards to Ox, Walcott and Welbeck, although they all possess serious talents I see them
in large part as headless chickens who are on the injury table too much, lack the necessary first - touch and / or lack the finishing flair to warrant their inclusion
in a regular starting eleven; I would say that, of the 3, Ox showed the most upside once we went to a back 3, but even he became a bit too consumed by his pending contract talks before the season ended and that concerned me a bit... if I had to choose one of those 3 players to stay on it would be Ox due to his potential as a plausible alternative to Bellerin
in that wing - back position should we continue to use that formation...
in Sanchez, we get one of the most committed skill players we've seen on this squad for some years but that could all change soon, if it hasn't already of course... strangely
enough, even he doesn't make sense given the constructs of the original Wenger offensive model because he holds onto the ball too long and he will give the ball up a little too often
in the offensive zone... a fact that is largely forgotten due to his infectious energy and the fact that the numbers he has achieved seem to justify the means... finally, and
in many ways most crucially, Giroud, there is nothing about this
team or the offensive system that Wenger has traditionally employed that would even suggest such a player would make sense as a starter... too slow, too inefficient and way too easily dispossessed... once again, I think he has some special skills and, at times, has showed some world - class qualities but he's lack of mobility is an albatross around the necks of our offence... so when you ask who would be our best starting 11, I don't have a clue because of the 5 or 6 players that truly deserve a place
in this side, 1 just arrived, 3 aren't under contract beyond 2018 and the other was just sold to Juve... man, this is theraputic because following this
team is like an addiction to heroin without the benefits
Perez doesn't look good
enough to lead a EPL challenging
team, his stats are poor if anyone would care to look at them, yes he pinched a few
goals but I put that down to being an unknown
in the league.
And
in case you think this
team isn't strong
enough you need to remember that this line - up beat BATE 6 - 0 last time out, while our first
team strikers need 20 shots to score one
goal!
Theo Walcott may have scored 20
goals for Arsenal last season, but
in this campaign he can't buy a League game from Arsene Wenger and the rumours are that the 28 year old is desperate to move
in January to seek first
team football to try and get a good
enough run to impress the England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of the World Cup Finals
in Russia this summer.
Forwards — again numbers wise probably
enough but I think we lack one more
goal scorer I think only Alexis Giroud and Walcott if fit will offer more than 15 +
goals in a season although the rest of the
team will score many
goals.
I am not a player who's going to beat three or four people and stick it
in the top corner or go round tackling people like Roy Keane... People are making a big thing about how I don't score
enough goals when that is not necessarily my first job
in the
team.
His
goals and assists tally is certainly impressive considering the time on the pitch, but he just doesn't seem to do
enough to convince Wenger that he's worthy of a starting spot
in the
team.
Manchester United have continued their impressive pre-season form, with two
goals from winger Ashley Young
enough for Louis van Gaal's
team to edge European champions Real Madrid 3 - 1
in Michigan.
Kane is a better striker this is his second consecutive season where he's scored 20
goals in the EPL but Giroud
in all his 4 years his best league tally is a mere 16
goals which is not good
enough to make us challenge for any titles,
in the last 5 years a winning
team always has a 20
goal striker!
This is why England as a national
team will never win the world cup or Euros their players are just not good
enough, they don't have a single world class player, even Wayne Rooney is poor it took him 12 years at Man United to do what Henry did
in 8 years at Arsenal that's to score 175
goals!
And then there are more defensive
teams with relatively little
goal potency elsewhere on the field who rely to a very significant extent on the
goal returns from their lone centre forward (think Costa at Chelsea last year, aside from Hazard they could not rely on
goals from too many other sources other than the centre forward position, or Atletico
in 2014 strangely
enough with Costa again, or Martinez at Porto (admittedly not quite so defence minded)
in 2013 where no other player got
in to double figures).
players like Ozil always present the fans with a bit of a conundrum, especially when times are tough... if you look around the sporting world every once
in awhile there emerges a player with incredible skill, like Ozil, Matt Sundin or even Jay Cutler, who have a different way about themselves... their movement seemed almost too lackadaisical, so much so that it seemed to suggest indifference or even disinterest on the part of the player... their posture always appears somewhat mopey and they generally have an unflattering «sour puss» expression on their face... for some their above average skills are
enough to keep them squarely
in the mix, as their respective
teams try desperately to find a way to get the best out of them visa vie player acquisitions or the reworking of tactics... when things go according to planned the fans usually find a way to accept their unique disposition, whereas when things go awry they become easy targets for fans and pundits alike...
in the case of Ozil and Sundin, their successes on the international stage and / or with their former
teams led many to conclude that if we surrounded such talented individuals with players that have those skills that would most likely bring the best of these players success would surely follow... unfortunately both the Maple Leafs and our club chose to adopt half - measures, as each were being run by corporations who valued profitability over providing the best possible product on the field... for them, they cared more about shirt sales and season tickets than doing whatever was necessary... this isn't, by any stretch, an attempt to absolve Ozil of any responsibility for his failures on the pitch... there is no doubt oftentimes his efforts were underwhelming, to say the least, but this club has been inept when it comes to providing this prolific passer with the kind of players necessary for him to flourish... with our poor man's version of Benzema up front, the headless chickens
in Walcott, the younger Ox and Welbeck occupying wide positions far too often and the fact that Carzola, who provided Ozil with great service and more freedom to roam, was never truly replaced, the only real skilled outlet on the pitch was Sanchez... remember to be considered a world - class set - up man
goals need to be scored and for much of his time here he has been surrounded by some incredibly inept finishers...
in the end, I'm not sure how long he will be
in North London, recent sentiments and his present contract situation seem to suggest that he will depart at season's end, but how tragic would it be if once again we didn't put our best foot forward and failed to make those moves that could have brought championship football back to our once beloved club... so when you think about this uniquely skilled player don't be so quick to shift all the blame on his shoulders because he will not be the first or the last highly skilled player to find disappointment at the Emirates if we don't rid the club of those individuals that are truly to blame for our current woes
No amount of hurry
in the world would have given the Vikings
enough time to get the kicking
team onto the field and lined up for the field -
goal attempt.
I sometimes wonder after listening to Arsene Wegner if he was at the same game, because for him to believe that before the second
goal the game was close is clearly ridiculous, he then went on to say, he doesn't understand why people are acting like we lost to a
team at the bottom of the league, someone should have reminded him of the
team losing to Nottingham Forest
in the FA cup, really sad that the embarrassment under this delusional old man continues without anyone responsible
enough to stop him.
