I feel limited by the restraints of not being able to use
enough images in a book on Amazon and don't quite know how to get past that!

book in a hundred words is hard
enough without thinking through
images, sound, and timing.
It's not
enough to be your own entire publishing team, but you also have to fight against public perception, and the possibility that you're the sought - after needle
in the haystack but nobody can find you because there are too many low - quality
books dragging your
image down.

The 1 GB SD card installed
in the Iliad E-Reader gives you significant storage capacity that is good
enough to store almost 1000
books or similar sized documents and about 400 to 500
images.
I already had the
book cover so it wasn't a design job per say, it was taking my current cover and make the necessary tweaks so it doesn't look out of whack, but I didn't have a large
enough image to work with
in order to meet the ACX size requirements (2400 x 2400 pixels
in size).
Do make sure any
images you use are high
enough quality to not appear grainy, but also sized down
enough for ebook viewing before inserting them
in your
book.
If you have a beautifully designed Children's Picture
book or a Photography
book with
images laid out
in specific layout or perhaps a Magazine or Comic the standard way of formatting an ebook may not be
enough and it may be better to have your
book as a fixed layout ebook.
