And the emergence of the likes Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Ross Barkley means that Hodgson has
enough midfield options that he does not have to gamble on Wilshere's fitness.

Having added a striker and
midfielder, a central defender is arguably next at the top of his to - do list as he looks to rebuild the spine of a team that finished 10th in the Premier League last season and is short of
options at the back with John Terry, Gary Cahill and Kurt Zouma arguably not
enough.

options to play in the
midfield trio, so i guess it should be
enough for the season, provided Elneny continues to grow.
The Arsenal transfer rumours about Jack Wilshere and a possible move to play for our old rivals Manchester United are still in the embryonic stage, as reported by Metro, but with the Gunners already having more
options in the central
midfield area where Jack plays there is a good chance that his loan season at AFC Bournemouth is not going to be
enough to earn him a return to play for his beloved Arsenal.
Our counterattacking is not good
enough and missed chances pile up more pressure with a weakening defensive
midfield position we need accurate and high tempo passing which require a lot of off the ball movement to give the guy with the ball more
options of where to pass the ball.
Though this formation would mainly help control the
Midfield it would also offer the best of our striking
options in combining Giroud and Sanchez, which both oddly
enough have the exact qualities the other player lacks, and will offer an aerial presence in the game.
I would love to see a big dm
option come in, but again with all our
midfield options due back by the time we face spurs (in 5 matches time) I can see wenger running with 2 of cazorla rosicky chamberlain ozil ramsey wilshire arteta zelalem diaby and niles, playing either side of coquelin flamini chambers or hayden, again 14
options for 3 positions will be considered
enough by wenger.
Felt exactly the same way, maybe not like crying but certainly frustrated seeing how other clubs acquire our players and make them fit perfectly on their game, Jenk and Song covering the back and well now feel like crying, FAB leader in assists commanding the
Midfield and responsible for Chelsea being on top of the league, meantime let's face it, lately our players are running on the pitch like wild geese with no clear tactics, abusing this tiki taka BS, running thru the middle like rams with no clear
options, getting injured in the process and we all know why and who is responsible,

enough... iwobi fine but ox and bellerin looked very poor so still the same issue... quality

@Legendary, I tend to agree with most of what you have said but Central
Midfielder is the last we need at the moment because we have
enough of them in my opinion, at least two reliable
options in each position + standbys.
Despite most Arsenal fans realising Francis Coquelin wasn't good
enough to be the long - term
midfield option, that hasn't stopped the support pouring in following his transfer to Valencia.
A 4 -2-3-1 set - up sees United with more attacking
options, whilst also having
enough bodies in
midfield to stem the threat of the Liverpool attack.
Defensive
options look to be limited (I am assuming that Moyes will stick with a back four) and it is unlikely that he will be brave
enough to give a start to Declan Rice — I am not convinced that Rice is the answer to the
midfield frailties.
The signing of Mohamed Elneny and returns of Mikel Arteta and Francis Coquelin gives Arsene Wenger more than
enough options to partner Aaron Ramsey in holding
midfield.
Worst: He struggles to find a place in Arsenal's 3 -4-3 system: not trusted
enough to play in central
midfield and not able to outshine Arsenal's other attacking
options.
Stop buying players that would be hugely paid to bring down ManU... Clyne is a better
option, still 21, Bring in Kane with Dybala & Let VP with Falcao go, Memphis Depay (the golden boy) should be brought in, let Evans go for Laporte, Varane & defence marshal (Hummel) & not forgetting the
midfield bring in strootman, Vidal & Alcantara, then build our young ones in the likes of Pereira, Powell, Lingard, Januzaj, let one of Blackett & McNair go on loan to learn, NB - Nani & Hernandes would be back, so there would be
enough competition &
options as far as we are playing all competition, definitely once the CL is confirmed I believe De'Gea would sign a New deal, so Van Gaal, work hard to earn a CL spot 3rd for that matter!
The strikers are not threatening,
midfield does not have
enough options to choose from to pass the ball and the less said about the defense, the better.
His role is too add balance to the
midfield, as I feel Arsenal have
enough attacking
options and do nt need him to chip in.
In recent weeks, both David Alaba (usually a left - back or
midfielder) and number six Joshua Kimmich have looked good as emergency centre - backs and with Holger Badstuber also available to him, Guardiola will feel he already has
enough options to hold the fort defensively.
