The original
organizational structure of finding tools like the Canadian Abridgment was fist built in print, and I would argue that its electronic equivalent has
enough foundation from the print that its origins can not be dismissed and while it is likely that «Headnotes come from databases of case summaries,» there is still a significant value to pointing a researcher to a copy of a decision that has a headnote.
