A lot of times we don't eat
enough veggies because we think it takes too much time.

Oh — I made a couple (mostly accidental) modifications: I had a heavy hand w measuring the
veggies and also did an extra onion, just
because we like those a lot, so I didn't have
enough liquid in the pot.
The only thing I did differently was I turned it on high halfway through
because the
veggies weren't cooking quick
enough but it could be my crockpot.
At first I was going to say I am most excited about making smoothies
because the blender I have isn't quite big
enough to add a bunch of fruit and
veggies, (or powerful
enough to really blend the harder stuff) But after seeing this post I now am pretty pumped to make breads, muffins, and batters to bake things!
Because the truth is we don't consume
enough veggies (over 80 % of the US population does not meet intake recommendations for beans and peas).
But people used to go in ketosis not by gorging on meat and fats, they used to go there
because only low carb
veggies or not
enough food was available.
While this is a bit pricey, I decided it was worth it
because I'd probably have to spend the same amount on fruits and
veggies to create
enough juice to sustain me.
So I had
enough of trying,
because I tried for too long, and decided to not weigh myself anymore and just to eat a healthy diet, packed with
veggies, eating mindfully and slowly (most times) and when hungry, and not deprive myself constantly.
The 3 kiddos liked it too (even good for the baby
because flavorful but not too spicy, and can cook the
veggies until soft
enough for a baby to chew, if you prefer).
