NOTE: In case
ODIN says «FAIL» or the device freezes, the phone
enters into a boot loop, then you will need to power off the device, disconnect it from your PC, close
ODIN, and then repeat the entire tutorial once again starting with step 3.
If the PASS message is displayed by
ODIN, but your phone
enters in a boot loop, or it gets stuck at the boot animation screen, then you should factory reset your device.
If the installation is successful and
ODIN shows the PASS alert, but your Galaxy Note 8 device
enters in a boot loop, or it gets stuck at the boot animation screen, then you have to Factory Reset the device.
If
ODIN shows the PASS alert, but the Galaxy S8

ODIN tells you that the Android 5.0.1 installation for your Galaxy S5 US Cellular device was passed with success, but the phone doesn't go past the Samsung boot animation screen after 30 minutes or it
enters into a boot loop, then you will be forced to apply an extra «factory reset» operation.
