We camped at a famous
lake in Oregon and loaded up our coffee, kayaks, floaties, and breakfast while it was still dark - we drove the Sequoia around the
lake, while watching early morning wildlife and the sunrise, then picked out the best picnic spot on the
shore and spend the
entire day there!
Rock layers on the
shore had already revealed that the
lake has fluctuated in size, filling the
entire Jordan Rift Valley during the last Ice Age.
