The project focused on the rights to health and to food, and the background research on the environmental factors affecting the realization of particular human rights became a resource for the human rights and environmental communities undertaking the development of standards, benchmarks, and indicators.
«The risk calculator does not take into account treatment or other potentially supportive environmental factors that may reduce risk; this is a direction for future research,» Seidman said, adding that the power of the calculator lies in putting symptoms in perspective for patients and their families.
