This analytical report aims to demonstrate and illustrate how integrating gender
equality principles
into REDD + (reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation, and the role
of conservation, sustainable management
of forests and enhancement
of forest carbon stocks in developing countries) results in improved sustainability
of climate and development
outcomes.
Its goal is to achieve an
equality of outcome that prefers racialized persons and other minorities in gaining entrance
into the profession and being promoted within it.
