Not only is community solar a huge opportunity to supply more of our electricity with sustainable, domestic energy, it also has
important equity implications.
This report details
the equity implications of ESSA and provides recommendations for ways in which states, districts, and schools can leverage the new law to enhance equitable educational opportunities and close persistent achievement gaps.
The team will also look at future regional development trajectories, their emissions implications, and
equity implications.
Weighing the benefits of avoiding such climate - induced risks versus the costs of mitigation or adaptation, as well as the distribution of such costs and benefits (i.e.,
equity implications of such trade - offs) is also beyond the scope of this chapter, as is attempting a normative trade - off analysis among and between various groups and between human and natural systems.
