of the broad scientific view that the increase
in global average temperature above pre-industrial levels ought not to exceed 2 degrees C, we support an aspirational global goal

India on Wednesday reiterated its commitment to «protecting the interests
of the poor» at the Lima Climate Change talks, challenging rich nations who want to keep
poverty eradication out
of a list
of priorities for developing countries
in a new climate pact to be signed next year
in Paris.
The high incidence
of poverty in forested areas and the high dependence
of the poor on forest resources suggest a leading role for forestry
in poverty eradication.
The special report will be released
in 2018 and will serve as basis to discuss adaptation options
in the context

In all
of this, our goal is clear — to encourage authors and artists and to ensure that more women and men benefit from literacy and accessible formats, because books are our most powerful forces
of poverty eradication and peace building.
Our vision is the law and lawyers playing their full part
in the
eradication of global
poverty.
The12UN's focus on development and the
eradication of poverty was also augment ed with the establishment
of the Millennium Declaration Goals
in 2000.
Clearly a key feature
of the Johannesburg Declaration, and contemporary international analysis
of sustainable development, is the
eradication of poverty and the development
of communities
in conjunction with environmental protection.
