I side - load ebooks to my Android tablet along with converting all e-books to EPUB format; that way, no matter where or what I purchase, all of my e-books are available to read on any of my electronics as well as in
my ereader app of choice — Mantano — which has a free and purchased edition.
So consumers will be given the option to open the epub / mobi file in
the ereader app of their choice (Kindle / Kobo / iBooks / ReadMill, etc.) Or they could read a webbook inside the application.

ereader, simply download the free Kindle
app to the electronic device
of your
choice (phone, tablet, PC, etc).
If you're interested in social recommendations, 3G,
apps, or any
of the other bonus features found on the Nook and Kindle, it's best to go with one
of those, obviously, but the totally uncluttered and ultra-simple operation
of the Kobo
eReader Touch Edition makes it a perfectly good
choice for an e-reading novice or purist.
Some people like having an Android device for more forms or
ereading, like RSS feeds, comics, web browsing (the Kindle's browser is dreadful), integrating with Dropbox, a
choice of a bunch
of different ePub
apps, etc, and others just prefer to read Kindle ebooks, in which case the Kindle has the advantage.
However, the average iPad user may not be aware
of features or limitations in the various
eReader apps available on the
App Store, so I'm going to try to boil this down so that you can make the appropriate
choices which best fit your reading lifestyle.
By operating the Kindle Serial Store, creating the Kindle device and rendering their branded
ereading app ubiquitous across multiple platforms (iOS, Droid, etc.), they can take your money and deliver the product to your reading device
of choice with one click.
A service such as Fetch is able to deliver content via the ReadMill
app (a fairly new
ereading application that most consumers would need to go download for free from their
app store
of choice).
This will allow users to install
apps of their
choice including their
choice of eReading app.
