erroneous or outdated
information that's
listed.
Fortunately, by law you are allowed to dispute any
information listed on your credit report that you deem inaccurate,
erroneous, outdated, incomplete, etc..
These agencies are expert in credit legislation and spotting these
erroneous listings, holding credit bureaus, banks, debt collectors and lenders accountable for reporting accurate
information.
Another example that comes to mind is the
information contained in a feature sheet (prepared by the
listing agent who has no contractual relationship with the buyer), where the buyer's buying decision is triggered by some
erroneous item contained in the feature sheet.

erroneous information from the real estate
listing.
