They don't believe in
Hell as a
fiery place of
eternal torment but rather as the absence of God.
For him to «want» this to happen, infers that if he is correct, then that would most likely mean (given the current model of the rapture when Jesus supposedly returns), that billions of people would be sent to an
eternal fiery torment in...
hell.
It speaks so well to the mindset of my former church life and the belief that only a few would find the truth and the masses were destined for a
fiery eternal hell.
