For cats, the total
number that entered shelters actually increased 7 % — and
euthanasia remained essentially the same.
Another reason
for caution when interpreting the effects of MSN legislation is that shelter intake and
euthanasia statistics are often presented as a total
number of dogs and cats.
For years, animal shelters have seen an increasing
number of homeless animals and a rising
euthanasia rate due to too few adoptions.
Not precipitous I'm not calling
for, you know,
euthanasia or you know, God forbid a plague or anything like that, but let's start dialing back the
number of human beings on this planet.
