Even Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are completely different in tone.
But, if you're like me and don't enjoy them to the same extent as you did the classic ones, or
even Sonic Adventure, then Sonic Forces is a decidedly average game; neither bad, nor particularly good either.
Not exact matches
Rather than stick to the vanilla early 90s cast like the nostalgia trip that is
Sonic Mania,
Sonic Forces brings back a bunch of characters introduced in games like Knuckles» Chaotix,
Sonic Adventure and
even Sonic 06.
One of the things, that made
Sonic Adventure, and
even Sonic Heroes great is the other characters involved.
Out of all the «Toys to Life» franchises, LEGO Dimensions is the most demanding on the wallet, and the upcoming second season looks set to be
even more so with packs based on
Sonic the Hedgehog, Gremlins,
Adventure Time and dozens more.

Sonic's movement is copied well, it just doesn't translate to the 3D environment of the
adventure world.

Sonic / Shadow speed stages and
even then they are inferior to the
Sonic stages in
Adventure as they got rid of multiple pathways and made the stages more linear and compact.

Sonic adventures from the past can't hold a candle to it.
Even with these issues, others stand by «
Sonic Adventure» for its inventive stages, speedy gameplay, and use of the Rashomon effect.

even mario has chainged in looks, 3rd you critizize and discredidt the game based on 5 secs of footege and the way he looks.

Sonic Adventure to Unleashed I though you would never, ever make a
Sonic 4 kind of game,

Sonic hasn't his classical design, I liked the new design since
Sonic adventure for dreamcast (
