I take out portions of this mother batch and flavor with salt fresh herbs and chopped shallots or in other moments will spread on piece of toast like cream cheese or may
even add honey and cinnamon for a sweet treat.
I didn't
even add honey and it still tasted just as good, just like a pumpkin pie.

Some are very bitter, which can ruin your dip, and to that I recommend
adding a touch of sweetness, maple syrup or
honey or
even blended dates, and you're back in business.
I don't
even bother to peel the ginger (it's fine),
add lemon or lime and some
honey (all to taste) and you are good to go.
