Naughty Bear would have been a great $ 15 Summer of Arcade
game, but
as a
standalone retail title, I can't recommend a purchase until this hits the $ 20 bargain bin and
even then your standards, or at least your expectations had better be low.
But if you already own Jackbox Party Pack 3 or
even Fibbage
as a
standalone game, is the $ 24.99 price tag worth it.
To further add to the issue
as of now they are only really considering a digital version to go with the Infinite Warfare special editions which is part of the great issue of stupid ideas, there does not
even appear to be plans for the
game to release
as a
standalone game on the digital stores (though likely they will eventually) which would hurt them more.
While every Zelda
game,
even the few true sequels, can be played perfectly well
as its own adventure, Link's Awakening's story is undoubtedly a
standalone episode within the overall saga.
The Vita version does have a little more to offer for owners of the PS3 version, but
as a
standalone game, still offers an incredible, in - depth baseball experience that will keep
even the most hardcore of baseball fans interested for quite some time.
One must also state that the expansion pack is playable
as a
standalone game as well, meaning that one does not need to have purchased Company of Heroes 2 prior to the expansion pack
as the latter can run separately on its own,
even though it excludes the Campaign mode.
The plot makes little sense
as a
standalone, and when viewed
as an extension of the Cybertron titles (set, in theory, between the first two
games) it's
even worse.
