We absolutely love a Fair Isle sweater, and we love it
even more when it looks fresh and modern — like Leslie's Aqua style does with her classic French Connection
coat, faded
denim and moto boots.
In the cold, you get extra insulation (could
even add tights underneath the
denim) and visual interest; in April, remove pants (ahhhh) and
coat, keep the shoes.
(I have some black maternity leather
coated denim pants that I can sort of wear
even when I'm not pregnant... but let's be honest... they aren't black jeans).
I love mixing mine with a
