You can keep it simple and vegetarian by only using eggs, or you can add shrimp as I have, or
even diced chicken or pork.

My food processor broke, so I made this recipe
even easier — same ingredients as my original recipe, but this time I
diced up the two pounds of
chicken breasts, threw that in my stock pot, and then blended the carrots, celery, red pepper and canned tomatoes in my blender, added that to the pot, with all the remaining ingredients and let it cook for a few hours on Sunday afternoon on low.
Spread the
diced veggies into an
even layer, place the
chicken among the veggies to absorb their moisture (don't place the meat on top of the veggies, it becomes dry).

Vegetarian protein additions can be seitan or wheat meat, tofu which has been frozen and baked or grilled in small
dice or very thin slices, in addition to
chicken, turkey, beef, ham, or
even bacon.
All you do is add
diced onion, carrots, and celery to a slow cooker, along with wild rice and raw
chicken (you don't
even have to cut it up).
Serve the dressing on shrimp salad,
chicken salad or mixed greens; add
diced jicama and fresh cilantro leaves to the salad for
even more flavor.
To make preparation
even easier, make a habit of
dicing and freezing leftover
chicken whenever possible.
Amp up the nutrition of nachos by mixing in pinto or black beans, whole kernel corn, and
even diced, cooked
chicken into the traditional cheese sauce.
You can serve this gluten - free, vegetarian dish as a full meal or, for our meat eating friends, serve along side some cooked
chicken or
even toss leftover
diced chicken right in!
Wouldn't it be easier to use

even dice to come up with a totally random guess and then average it?
