The arena maps were drop dead gorgeous and richly detailed, but I feel there could have been more maps to experiment with, as we know that

games or features hidden inside nearly every product and service Google makes (
even its spreadsheets).
There are tons of little obstacles throughout each of the
game's
maps that you can't cross,
even though you clearly should be able to.
There's just so much variety within the
maps, items, and skills, that it's never the same
game twice, and with it's perma - death (if you're playing it right;p) it always keeps you on your toes
even when you are nearly sure you've reached that godly state, you open the door and a named monster has you running for your life.
Even if there are no vehicles in this DLC, the four
maps are well designed (a couple of them have an interesting «levolution») and the new
game mode pushes the player to coordinate their actions.
The same logic applies to this
game, and
even to Battlefield or every other FPS
game that revolves around controlling strategic
map locations: the team that controls most of the
map is more than likely to win the match.
The single player is great and long, but the
game really shines on multiplayer, you can
even play your avatar, or play an invasion
game mode where you build your
map before you play.
Plus to ensure that
even the most veteran of
gamers is given a real challenge, the level arrangements have been modified; with item locations,
map layouts and the strategies needed for completing levels all updated.
Our only reserve is about the
game's variety: the 5
maps available with the free Prologue and the first campaign episode aren't enough to keep
gamers playing over and over, so a constant release of new episodes,
even after the first season, will be very important.
What's in the
game is impressive,
even beautiful; however, the fundamental fact is that there are only four
maps and one gun to be had in the entire
game.
firefight is awesome fun with the only real setback being that its friends only i'd really of liked it to be open to everyone but i'm lucky to have friends to play with and if none of them are about i have the classic halo 3 multi player plus every dlc
map to play on against one of the largest communities of players thats still going strong

I use the gamepad all the time at home,
even as a mini tv to watch netflix while working ^ ^ and its perfect for
games like windwaker, its awesome not to have to pause everytime you need to check your
map or inventory

Yeah, I've made a few
games (PC, but I'd rather do Wii U or 3DS; not commercial, of course) in the past, and I can think of lots of ways to use the gamepad, and I've seen cool ways that
even developers that aren't enthusiastic about the gamepad use it, such as in LEGO Marvel Superheroes, where you can pull up the full
map on the gamepad (I'm still laughing when I discovered that many of the loading screens in that
game can be skipped)
It might be a good reference for theory - crafting and brainstorming, but you can be 100 % sure that
even if it was originally legit, the
map will not look like that in the release version of the
game.
There is
even a
map editor called Snapmap which allows you to create your own levels but it is a little rough around the edges but nonetheless it's a good way to further explore the
game and keep on playing.
Vehicle riding may be considered unbalanced in most
games, but considering the scale of most of the
maps, and the fact that BF2 was developed on realism, and in the real world you may see up 10 or
even 20 soldiers piled onto a moving tank or APC like penguins on a melting iceburg, the concept should have been kept.
With the near - launch day update, there is now a
map that helpfully displays where you are in the world, but
even without it the exploration can be quite fun and the
game world is designed with fun traversal in mind.
