You can
see up to 10,000 different sea creatures including jellies,
sharks, rays and
even rare sea dragons.
Hammerhead
shark, Caribbean reef
shark and
even the oceanic white tip
shark are
seen occasionally, but these lucky sightings are rare.
There are plenty of
sharks to be
seen in Raja Ampat from white and black tipped reef
sharks to whale
sharks and
even some rarer ones such as wobbegong
shark.
For
even more variety, the Pacific coasts offer emerald - tinged waters filled with massive schools of fish, flights of rays and a chance to witness rarely -
seen gatherings of hammerhead
sharks.
I've
seen 15 foot Bulls, really huge Tigers, lots of Black tip reef and
even a couple Hammers in schools exceeding 15
sharks at these events.
However they are the best place in the area to
see large pelagics — big barracuda schools, reef
sharks and tuna are common, with occasional dolphins, mola - mola and
even hammerhead
sharks if you are lucky, along with luscious hard and soft coral gardens.
It's a great site for looking out to the blue — we have
seen mola here and
even thresher
sharks!
In every dive we'd
see a plethora of reef
sharks, turtles, rays, many tropical fish, and in one, we
even saw moray eels out of their holes, fighting.
There were a lot of eagle rays
seen swooping along the reef and
even a tiger
shark was spotted in the open ocean.
Commonly
seen are many species of rays known to dwell in the islands» waters such as spotted eagle rays and devil manta rays, also big schools of fish,
sharks, turtles and sometimes
even whales.

seen here; this is the kind of place where it is possible to
see just about anything!
Turtles are relatively common here and
even reef
sharks are occasionally
seen.
See anything from GIANT sea turtles, octopus, dolphins or
even sharks!
These can include whale
sharks, dolphins, seahorses, crabs, starfish, manatees, turtles and many species of birds; you may
even see the American crocodile.
Even the most experienced scuba diver can be left dumbstruck by the volume of fish and
sharks;
sharks galore... You can expect to
see snappers, jacks, chevron barracuda and red - toothed triggerfish in vast numbers.
In fact, as you can
see in the photo below, I came very close to a nurse
shark that I never
even noticed, since I was still checking out my photos of the eel.
