With the help of the electrons of the resulting nitrogen vacancy center,
even smallest magnetic fields can be detected with a resolution of a few nanometers thanks to nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.

«Our magnetometers (
magnetic field sensors) are highly sensitive and can reliably measure
even the
smallest of changes in the ambient
magnetic field,» explains Professor Uwe Hartmann.
But they also found that
even very
small magnetic fields were enough to prevent thermal fluctuations from flipping electron spins.
The
smaller star is the source of the

even though that
field is about 1000 times stronger than the sun's, imaging it still required two arrays of radiotelescopes, plus two extra dishes, to detect the signals generated by
magnetic fields.

even smaller (the 22 - year Hale cycle is not very strong, and not
even discernable in the sunspot record,
even though we have reasons to believe it exists since the
magnetic fields flip), thus not a very reliable method.
I agree that these numbers are not a correct measure, but
even so they tell that any effect on the Sun or the Earth is very
small, and that Saturn, in particular, is already so distant that neither its mass nor its
magnetic fields can have much influence on anything in the Sun or for the Earth.
