We all get
link request
spams,
even Google engineers!
And that is true for all varieties of
links,
even most of the ones you might call «
spam,» as long as you're not the one placing those
links.
And now another aloe vera site out of China, who didn't
even appear before, has rocketed above mine in two days (LOTS of chinese languages
spam links).
Please don't
even click on their
links — you are just putting money into their pockets and encouraging them to continue to use deception and
spam.
There are lot's of ways to tweet
links to art * without *
spamming, but
even when I love someone's art, I won't follow them if their twitter feed is nothing but
links to new listings on Etsy or whatever.
Link - buying or
spamming guest blogging may actually harm your search presence, get you made fun of by bloggers (potentially with higher - profile websites) who dislike such practices, or
even have the opposite effect for SEO purposes.
The new system and rules will be a bit different - there are much better anti-
spam controls built into Discourse, the system we are switching to, so we will be allowing people to
link to things, and
even mildly self promote things they have created as long as it's not actual
spam.
