It's an extremely serious condition that leads to all kinds of health disorders, including a potentially fatal condition called hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver disease), diabetes, nonallergic skin conditions, and
even urinary tract disorders.
Many possibilities from bladder stones, to
even other causes outside of the
urinary tract i.e bleeding
disorders, platelet
disorders, etc From your concerns, I would recommend recheck at local vet ASAP, as only physical exam and blood counts can determine if too much blood loss and / or further treatment needed.
