If you purchase a map that shows all the locations of loot in a particular sector, you can spend
an evening looting chests so that you can build up enough currency to buy better weapons and to purchase the upgrades for those weapons.

Even returning to an outpost to deliver your
loot becomes a pain because what once was three players hauling three
chests is now you slowly running back and forth between your ship and the merchant.
The fastest way appears to be just running a Lost Sector over and over since the
chest will give the tokens
even if they don't give
loot anymore.

chests scattered around the world.

even more than in the first game, you can get lost in simply doing side quests, or open - world PvE battles, or exploring for
loot chests and minor locations, or participating in events.
Loot chests and collectables are often hidden in places that require some platforming or puzzle solving, and since both of these elements are so well executed you will find yourself going after these
chests and items
even if the rewards are underwhelming.
In the midst of all of that, you'll also stumble across new gear, hidden
chests, and items that will help you gain favor with each location's vendor which, in turn, will give you access to

loot.

Aethereus is not a land where you will conveniently find epic
loot under rocks or
even on foes, rather it places heavy focus on crafting:
Chests scattered around the landscape will contain the pebbles I have mentioned and / or crafting materials in addition to dropping off any victim that falls by your sword.
By
looting treasure
chests, player may unlock power ups: wings that let him fly around the stage, additional arrows which may be
