As it stands, this squad is fairly well positioned to compete for the Wenger Cup and make a deep run in the Europa, if and only if we play first stringers in Europe and use the bench for the League and FA Cups... that being said, and based on the fragility of the manager and the team in recent campaigns, it's more likely that Wenger will focus on a top 4 finish and the FA Cup... while the reasons for such an approach may appear logical, it would confirm a rather disturbing trend and appear counter intuitive for any team which claims to have higher aspirations... I feel that Wenger simply can't afford to
put all his eggs in the Europa basket because if he fails the potential backlash could cripple any top 4 chances due to the aforementioned fragile psyche that tends to rear it's ugly head like our own personal groundhog day each and every February... furthermore, can you even imagine Wenger bringing in the necessary recruits to adequately supply top quality lineups in a Thursday / Sunday dominated schedule; based on
everything I've seen in recent years, I can't see that happening... in fact, mark my words, it's more likely that we see Lacazette playing
out wide in Alexis's position with Giroud at striker, than we see Wenger make the necessary moves to right this ship... god, I hope I'm wrong but is it really that far - fetched considering what we've witnessed for past several years

With 755 horsepower the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette zr1 is the most powerful Corvette ever it's also the most technologically advanced behind me are the rolling s's at Road Atlanta and we're here to see if we can reach to the supercar levels of performance afforded by this thing's massive power big tires and the tall wing on the back after that we'll take to the streets to see if a car this powerful can behave itself in public this is a monster of a car I've had some brief track opportunities moving this morning to get used to the pace of this machine which is phenomenal we're gonna warm up
as we get
out to the road Atlanta and sort of build up to the pace that this car can operate at now initially when you hop in this car you have this shrine to the engine right above you you see the line of the hood it kind of dominates the center of the view you can see over it it doesn't affect visibility but it's immediately obvious and that kind of speaks to what makes this car special it's a monster of an engine listen to that [Music] that is tremendous tremendous acceleration and incredible power but what I finding so far my brief time here at the Atlanta is that
everything else in the car is rut has risen to match hurt me while I lay into it on the back straight look you know 150 mile - an - hour indicated we're going to ease up a little bit on it because I need to focus on talking rather than driving but like I was saying the attributes of the rest of the car the steering the braking capability the grip every system of this car is riding to the same level of the power and I think that's what makes it really impressive initially this is undoubtedly a mega mega fast car but it's one that doesn't terrify you with its performance potential there's a level of electronic sophistication that is unparalleled at this price point but it's hard not to get you know totally slipped away by the power of this engine so that's why I keep coming back to it this car has an electronically controlled limited slip differential it has shocks filled with magnetically responsive fluid that can react faster to inputs and
everything this car has a super sophisticated stability control system that teaches you how to drive it quick but also makes you go faster we haven't even gotten into exploring it yet because the limits of this car are so high that frankly it takes a while to grow into it but [Music] I think what's impressive about this car is despite how fast it is it is approachable you can buy this car to track dates with it and grow with it
as a driver and
as an owner I think that's a really special [Music] because you will never be more talented than this car is fast ever unless you are a racing driver casually grazing under 50 miles an hour on this straight okay I'm just going to enjoy driving this now [Music][Applause][Music] this particular Corvette zr1 comes with the cars track performance package a lot of those changes happen underneath the sheet metal but one of the big differences that is immediately obvious is this giant carbon fiber wing now the way this thing is mounted is actually into the structure of the vehicle and it makes you know loading the rear hatch a bit more difficult but we're assuming that's okay if you're looking for the track performance this thing delivers also giving you that performance are these Michelin Pilot Sport cup tires which are basically track oriented tires that you can drive on the street but
as we wake our way to the front of the thing what really matters is what's under the hood that's right there's actually a hole in the hood of this thing and that's because this engine is so tall it's tall because it has a larger supercharger and a bunch of added cooling on it to help it you know keep at the right temperature the supercharger is way larger than the one on the zo six and it has a more cooling capacity and the downside is it's taller so it pops literally through the hood the cool thing is from the top you can actually see this shake when you're looking at it from you know a camera from the top of the vehicle this all makes for 755 horsepower making this the most powerful Corvette ever now what's important about that is this not just the power but likewise
everything in the car has to be built to accommodate and be able to drive to the level of speed this thing can develop that's why you had the massive cooling so I had the aerodynamics and that's why I had the electronic sophistication inside [Applause] we had a lot of time to take this car on the track yesterday and I've had the night to think about things Matt today two crews on the road and see how this extreme performance machine deals with the sort of more civil minded stuff of street driving the track impressions remain this thing is unquestionably one of the most capable cars you can get from a dealer these days a lot of that's besides the point now because we're on the street we have speed limits they have the ever - present threat of law enforcement around every corner so the question is what does this car feel like in public when you slow this car down it feels like a more powerful Corvette you don't get much tram lining from these big wheels though we
as the front end doesn't want to follow grooves in the pavement it is louder it is a little firmer but it's certainly livable on a day to day basis that's surprising for a vehicle of this capability normally these track oriented cars are so hardcore that you wouldn't want to drive them to the racetrack but let's face it you spend more time driving to the track than you do on the track and the fact that this thing works well in both disciplines is really impressive I can also dial
everything back and cruise and not feel like I'm getting punished for driving a hardcore track machine that's a that's a really nice accomplishment that's something that you won't find in cars that are this fast and costs maybe double this much the engine in this car dominates the entire experience you can't miss the engine and the whole friend this car is sort of a shrine to it the way it pops
out of the hood the way it's covered with coolers around the sides it is the experience of this car and that does make driving this thing special and also the fact that it doesn't look half bad either in fact I think it has some of the coolest looking wheels currently available on a new car this car
as we mentioned this car has the track package the track package on this car gives you what they call competition bucket seats which are a little wide for my tastes but I'm you know not the widest person in the world this automatic transmission works well I mean there's so much torque again
out of this engine that it can be very smooth and almost imperceptible its clunky on occasion I think I'd might opt for the manual although Chevy tells me about 80 % of its customers will go for the automatic I don't think they're gonna be disappointed and that's gonna be the faster transmission drag strip on the street - and on the racetrack man it was a little bit more satisfying to my taste though we've talked about the exhaust I have it set in the track setting let's quiet it down a little bit so you can hear the difference now I've set that separately from
everything else so let's
put it stealth what happened to the engine sound that's pretty that's pretty amazing man stealth is really stealth and then go back to track Wow actually a really big difference that's that's pretty great the Corvette has always been a strong value proposition and nowhere is that more evident than this zr1 giving you a nearly unbeatable track performance per dollar now the nice thing is on the road this doesn't feel like a ragged edge track machine either you could genuinely drive it every day the compromises are few and that's what makes this car so special if you like what you see keep it tuned right here and be sure to visit Edmunds.com [Music]
For an author to possess all the skills, experience and materials to carry
out every part of the publishing process to a professional standard is about
as likely
as someone who decides to build their own home being able to do
everything from drawing the plans to digging the foundations to
putting on the roof without expert help.
In order to achieve these goals, I need to get better at
everything I'm doing, learn how to build up my brand and reputation (or «platform»)
as a writer and painter, produce more (and more quickly), get better results with less work, navigate and network the publishing and fine art industries, and constantly improve my skills so I can
put out excellent quality work.
This is my hesitation, because I
put everything aside in August last year to finally publish My Year of TED blog
as a book — and I should be spending more time getting that
out into the world in a much bigger way.
You know you're on the right track first and foremost if in your own head you know that your job
as a parent is to
put yourself
out of a job by raising your kid to independent adulthood (where independence equals not turning to you to handle / fix / resolve
everything) and when you appreciate that every day offers a chance to build that independence, no matter what age and stage your kid's at.
I suspect that
as this is a new site, they hadn't got
everything in place when you checked it
out, but now, apart from rather high prices (to
put it mildly!)
But I really think that indies are going to have to step up and do
everything they can to
put out a better product in order to be taken seriously on the same playing field
as traditionally published authors.
The rise of Netflix brought Binge - watching to our vocabulary
as a standard behaviour, which reinforced that many people like to devour
everything an entertainer
puts out, and then move on to the next thing — whether entire seasons of Dirty Jobs or Grey's Anatomy, or every book in the Mercy Thompson series.
Though with self - publishing, this kind of thing is inevitable,
as self - publishers can post anything and
everything they want, this doesn't help the stigma that self - publishers are
putting out the worst writing available.
Maybe the «rush» to
put out a tablet had little to do with the iPad and
everything to do with using first adopters
as beta testers, and Google wants to find the bugs in Honeycomb before several other tablets release in the next few months.
So that's why having
everything back to U.S. dollars, at least on the equity side, in at least our view, is not
as advantageous to
put out that cost of doing the hedging because it's not free to do.
I am 25 and a USA resident that is financially well off enough to financially max
out my HSA and I wouldn't need to use it to reimburse myself for medical expenses (I had a soccer injury that lead to a fair amount of physical therapy so for this year i could take
everything that I
put in
as a deduction, if it is not significantly harmful to my long term financial health).
With a traditional IRA (if you meet certain requirements) you receive a deduction when you
put money in, but
everything is taxable
as income when it comes
out.
Maybe now that I've started
putting my picture on my CV that shouldn't happen
as much — what will happen is I will be passed over for
everything I apply for everywhere in the world and I'll just rot wherever I am when I run
out of money and am still expected to PAY because at the moment I'm in a country (Mexico) where the concept of «free rent in exchange for teaching English» seems to be falling on deaf ears even when I say it in Spanish.
Thanks Caz, yeah I
put it together because
as a long - term budget traveler not
everything is lanned
out too far in advance, and I've always thought wouldn't it be great to have all the sites I need in one place so I don't have to keep fishing around for them — So when I started blogging which was only a few months ago — I
put this together and I hope it comes in handy for other travelers too
-
as Captain Olimar is making his way home, an asteroid onslaught forces him to land on a nearby planet - Sparklium is the fuel for Olimar's Dolphin III ship - with the ship's fuel depleted, you have to find items on this planet which can be turned into fuel - collect
everything from seeds to large scale treasures - you need 30,000 Sparklium to make your way home - you are eventually required to find a lost ship part at the end of the game - levels are more linear and puzzle based, and include specific goals / goodies to collect - move Captain Olimar with the Circle Pad, while all other interactions use the touchscreen - blow your whistle, throw Pikmin and also touch certain objects - worlds are called Sectors, with six areas altogether - find all the treasure and look for new passageways to complete a sector 100 % - passageways can grant you access to secret spots or additional levels highlighted with the letter X - the first world is called Brilliant Garden, which has lush forest environments - Yellow Pikmin can easily reach the upper screen, where you can sometimes collect goodies and pull down vines - there's a level where you use yellow Pikmin
as a source to connect two wires - connecting the wires lets you see enemies and platforms that were hidden in the shadows - Winged Pikmin can be flung at high speeds, and they can pick up Olimar and help him descend down into new areas - in a later level, you need to use red Pikmin to stomp
out fire and clear the way for you - Rock Pikmin are the strongest ones of the bunch and can break crystals - blue Pikmin can swim and fight well underwater - the maximum amount of Pikmin you can have in a stage is 20 - blow your whistle to call over the correct Pikmin for a task or puzzle - Ravaged Rustworks offers a unique industrial environment where you climb on pipes - Loney Tower has you climbing to the top of a tower without any help of Pikmin, and instead use pipes and Olimar's jetpack - Valley of the Breeze, found in the Leafswirl Lagoon sector, relies complete on Winged Pikmin - Barriers of Flame is in the Sweltering Parchlands sector - here you «lll be forced to improvise with Yellow and Rock Pikmin to get around fire - every world ends with a boss stage - one boss fight
puts you up against a Fiery Blowhog, where you use Red Pikmin to pick up / feed bombs to the boss - beating bosses gives you treasures worth 1,000 Sparklium each - supports amiibo in the Splatoon, Super Mario and Animal Crossing lines - amiibo can be scanned in to grant you access to secret spots - these are one room puzzle challenges where you collect a statue - these bonus rooms will also get you 200 Sparklium every time - you are limited by how many amiibo you can summon to each secret spot - one of the treasures you will find is an NES cartridge for Ice Climbers, which carries the name «Revenge Fantasy».
The cutscenes look great and they could have (and very well may have) been taken directly from MGS V. Most
everything is polished, functional, and well organized
as the Fox Engine
puts out another very «solid» performance, no pun intended.
But then things can get worse; an attack can leave you with no technicians, so things begin to catch fire, which is followed by your few remaining crew being too damn stupid to grab an extinguisher and
put them
out, leaving you to watch helplessly
as everything melts down around you.
