Anecdotal
evidence suggests that the take - up of
kindergarten was not completely immediate because of shortages of
classrooms and teachers rather than because of a gradual increase
in local demand.
National data does not exist on exactly what is happening
in classrooms around the country, but anecdotal
evidence and a few time - diary studies of
kindergarten classrooms indicate that the KIPP DREAM
classroom may be the exception, not the rule.
