«We believe that we can not afford to waste away the cultural heritage
of the Yoruba people and we are to start from a platform where it moves away from
economic integration to socio, political and also cultural
evolution of what we
think the Yoruba people stand for and that is also what I stand for.
One would
think that the climate system, whose stability enabled and fostered the
evolution of the human race and civilization over the course
of a few million years without active intervention, would be worth a tad more than a mere one generation's worth
of sustained
economic growth with low inflation.
