She continued popping up in
excellent film roles into the 1980s, as well as appearing in TV movies like MADD: Mothers Against Drunk Driving (1983).

excellent for what he needed to do to get ready for the movie
role — a bodybuilding type workout that packed muscle where it mattered for
film (chest, shoulders, arms) while giving a good strength base with squats and deadlifts (and making sure Wolverine wasn't walking on chicken legs).

role, however, it wouldn't be nearly as effective without T - Bone Burnett's

roles for Aidan Quinn, Ronald Pickup and Liam Neeson) and then of course comes the pièce de résistance, one of the greatest contributions to cinema of one of cinema's all - time - greatest contributors, Ennio Morricone.
Fred Gwynne did an
excellent job in the 1989
film, but I'm very interested to see what Lithgow brings to the

Real - life stuntwoman Zoe Bell (who doubled for Uma Thurman in «Kill Bill» and Lucy Lawless in «Xena: Warrior Princess») and Tracie Thoms (whose
role would have been played by Pam Grier or Samuel L. Jackson in any other movie) deliver great performances throughout their half of the
film, but it's Kurt Russell who walks away with «Death Proof» as Stuntman Mike, yet another
excellent addition to his rogue's gallery of classic characters.
Barbara Cupisti (of Soavi's Deliria) has a small
role, and the
film also benefits from Manuel de Sica's memorable score and
excellent pacing by editor Franco Fraticelli.
While Thomas W. Kiennast's black - and - white cinematography is quite beautiful to behold (Gröning's
film certainly features some
excellent cinematographic moments as well), Atef's
film never manages to convey why we should care, today, about this brief moment in Schneider's well - documented life, including her never - ending struggle with the German press, her inability to escape the
role of Sissi that made her instantly famous as a teenager, and the various tragedies that befell her, including the suicide of her ex - husband.7 The
film is not a biopic per se (and Atef declared that she did not intend to make one): thus, audiences who are not already familiar with Schneider certainly will not come away from viewing the
film with much of a sense of her life's story); yet, given it is not a biopic, one wonders what the
film is, or what it tries to accomplish.
This
excellent cast is a delight to watch, but make no mistake, this is Depp's
film, and perhaps his best, and most convincing
role for well over a decade.
Mark Ruffalo is an
excellent human for so many reasons, but topping our list today is the fact that he is just as desperate for a
role in the new Star Wars
films as, well, pretty much everyone else on the planet.
Brody and Polley do a fine job and Chaneac is
excellent in a difficult
role, while Natali crafts a very enjoyable little Sci - Fi / Horror
film, of which, are few and far between.

film less than you may imagine.

role is large there as an FBI agent; She'll headline Shonda Rhimes TV series «How To Get Away With Murder» and if it gets picked up past the pilot, don't expect to see her on your movie screens for awhile; The other leading
role is Lila & Eve (she plays Lila) but her co-star is... (wait for it)... Jennifer Lopez?
The actors in the movie are universally
excellent — pleasantly surprising is Gary Oldman giving his best performance in years with Gordon's beefier
role in this
film — but the one that will be remembered is of course Heath Ledger's Joker.
Teaming for a second time with with the eye - catching Kristen Stewart after 2014's
excellent Clouds of Sils Maria, this
film once again finds her in the
role of a personal assistant for a demanding celebrity.
Some of the characters in the
film were mere silhouettes, Bobby Cannavale, who I thought was
excellent in a supporting
role in Blue Jasmine, was left twiddling his thumbs in this one.
If the
film's riff on «The Champ» works at all, it's because of the lived - in relationship between Gyllenhaal and Laurence, and it suggests big things to come: she was also
excellent in SXSW drama «Lamb» and as the young Pensatucky in «Orange Is The New Black» this year, and is playing a lead
role in David Lowery's upcoming «Pete's Dragon.»
Parrack also does an
excellent job at injecting humor into the
role, and gives the
film a charismatic supporting player.
McAvoy and Fassbender are

roles and have awesome chemistry together; the most moving and interesting scenes in the

Matthew Broderick, who has been a part of a number of
excellent films from his mid -»80s teenager
roles to successful adult turns in both comedic and dramatic fare, takes on the
role of Gadget.
An
excellent supporting cast include Peter Sarsgaard as Bobby, Greta Gerwig as Jackie's confidant Nancy (the first
film I've seen Gerwig in where she wasn't annoyingly OTT in every scene) and John Hurt in a
role made all the more touching by is recent departure from us.
It was a fine
film that was not seen by many, but Cruz was
excellent in her
role.
Nunn was an
excellent actor and had a long career in
film, and we remember his
role in «Regarding Henry» very well.
Apart from a strong supporting
role as an FBI agent in Ben Affleck's
excellent The Town, Jon Hamm hasn't made the expected transition from the TV success of Mad Men to real
film stardom.
It's unfortunate, then, that some distracting casting mars the
film's otherwise
excellent final act, with several faces familiar to British audiences popping up in unsuitable and unconvincing
roles.
It's worth seeing the
film to watch Chan deliver a powerful and unique performance, truly doing an
excellent job channeling that darkness he has so often eschewed in other movies, but «The Foreigner» never realizes that this
role is its greatest strength and emotional core, and in doing so, ends up becoming a muddled affair that isn't as engaging as it should be.
Burning like a sparkler at the
film's center, though, was poised and petite Nicole Beharie, whose
excellent breakthrough performance in the leading
role unfortunately got buried in the rubble of the movie's missteps.
Nevertheless, the
role is an
excellent step into a fulfilling career in television and
film production.
