The current rich Pantar Straits and Pulau Pura has a variety of
dive sites which provide a superb mix of wide angle and macro subjects, along with plenty of
excellent «muck» diving and the opportunity to visit
local villages.

local dive sites in its own right, all easily accessible for a diving day trip.

Amed is famous for its
excellent diving and due to this Santai Hotel are affiliated with a
local dive shop meaning you can get involved with PADI course or go diving through the hotel.
Pemuteran's Aneka Resort is another option if you want to get off the beaten track and
dive in some interesting places like Menjangan Island, or the
excellent muck
dives in Secret Bay, plus the
local reefs of Pemuteran.
The visibility on the
local dive sites is not
excellent and ranges from 5 to 20 meters.
