The game does features enjoyable, solid third - person
shooter mechanics and
excellent multiplayer modes, but it's unfortunately held back by a horrible story, linear design, dreadful QTE's and questionable driving sequences.
Devolver Digital and Dodge Roll's Enter the Gungeon is an
excellent and unique fusion of bullet - hell
shooter mechanics, roguelite features and procedurally generated dungeon exploration that'll have players venture forth and face legions of gun - inspired foes to kill off their pasts.
But does that mean that they should stop striving to create that integrated world where you are playing a good -
excellent driving game,
shooter, with good exploration
mechanics all in the same game?
