Applicability — all hygro - thermal regions
except subarctic / arctic — in cold and very cold regions the thickness of the foam sheathing should be determined by hygro - thermal analysis so that the interior surface of the foam sheathing remains above the dew point temperature of the interior air (see Side Bar 2)
Summary: Temperature and sea ice «abberations» in northern Greenland are transient phenomena that have clearly happened before (e.g. 2011) without major consequences
except perhaps through impacts on eastern Arctic and
subArctic weather conditions (including the UK).
