exhibition of Irish Art in 1904 in London and continued to innovate by endowing the Gallery with a unique and
exceptional collection of modern art,
including the first impressionist paintings in any public collection across Britain and Ireland.
In total the
exhibition includes four new site - specific installations in the upper viewing rooms as well as three floors of sculpture, painting, video, works on paper and performance based work from a line up of
exceptional artistic talent.
Donations will be used to raise awareness of art by British women,
including by participation in NMWA
exhibitions or through the acquisition of works by women British artists to donate to NMWA to give global recognition to
exceptional art by women.
On view in New York City, the
exhibition highlights the work of
exceptional emerging artists from all over the world who are part of Saatchi Art,
including Sarah Faux, Alex Jackson, Ioana Manolache, Andrew McNay, Erin Morrison, Tom Pazderka, Katie Darby Slater, and Kevin Stuart.
Cruz created an
exceptional site - specific installation for the
exhibition, which
includes artists Hila Amram, Orestes de la Paz, Naomi Safran - Hon and Troizel Carr and Isabel Hui Saldana.
Three
exceptional artworks from the museum's collection are
included in the
exhibition: Zen for TV (1963; 1976), Megatron / Matrix (1995) and Electronic Superhighway: Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii (1995).
Other curatorial projects
