The overall strength of the show stemmed from the sophistication of the collectors, and among
the exceptional pieces on display were works by Ansel Adams, Thomas Hart Benton, Albert Bierstadt, Dale Chihuly, Winslow Homer, Roy Lichtenstein, Georgia O'Keeffe, Lino Tagliapietra, Grant Wood and more.
Now Venet's collection of more than 230
pieces, along with several
exceptional examples from other owners, are
on display at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris.
