collection from this Bay Area designer.

With spring
in the air and new blooms bursting through the ground, I have been getting more and more
excited to pull out some of my favourite
pieces from last year, while adding a few new ones to my
collection.
I was
excited to be one of the firsts
in the world to wear the
collection, like this blazer ($ 19.99) featuring velvet piping and this leopard print scarf ($ 6.99) which are two of my favorite
pieces from the line.
I'm not typically someone who wears statement necklaces (with the exception of the one
in this post) or anything too loud, so I was
excited to see so many delicate
pieces in the newest
collection.
The most
exciting part about being a blogger is getting the opportunity to take part
in a designer collaboration, which involves creating a
piece or
collection for a designer.
As you already know Stella & Dot came out with their 2013 Spring
collection and it looks absolutely stunning, wearable and gorgeous
pieces make me so
excited to share my inspirations;D Even though it's still winter, cold, snowy and messy out there, most of these
pieces are year round (really all of them, at least
in my book of rules!)
However, within this varied
collection of roles (as a bleached - blonde hooker
in «Winter Of Our Dreams», an anti-nuclear terrorist
in «Who Dares Wins» / «The Final Option», or an evironmentalist caught
in a murder - mystery
in «Heatwave») she, at the very least, sealed her reputation as one of the most
exciting young actresses
in the world - a well - worn
piece of praise given further credibility following the phenomenal performance she gave as Adela Quested
in David Lean's «A Passage To India», which resulted
in her recieving an Oscar nomination for Best Actress
in 1984.
Another artist that I mentioned earlier, Nancy Prophet, there are only about a dozen known works of hers so it's very
exciting to find a
piece of hers
in a private
collection and bring it to auction.
