What is truly revolutionary is that the second, third and fourth participants were able to
execute voluntary movements immediately following the implantation and activation of the stimulator.
At the end of the training, some subjects were able to
execute voluntary movements with greater force and with reduced stimulation, while others experienced enhanced movement accuracy.
