One might have expected this necessarily low - rise structure — it's tucked under the High Line on West Twenty - Fourth Street and runs through to Twenty - Third — to be a long, dark hut, but as built from the ground by architect Marcus Dochantschi's Studio MDA with Studio Christian Wassmann, the exhibition space is actually cathedral - high and wide, with skylights on either side.
