Guggenheim Ramps Up Its Focus on China — The New York museum will begin commissioning new work from artists in China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan and also create a new curatorial position devoted to contemporary Chinese art after receiving a $ 10 million grant from the Hong Kong - based Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation, which was also the
lead sponsor of the museum's 2008 Cai Guo - Qiang
exhibition.
