For de la Calle (of the Street), Esparza will transform the Project Room into a commons, serving as a site for
exhibition, production, and collaboration, with an assembled group of
local artists and nightlife personalities working on site with the artist to produce works to display
at the
museum, in a special edition artist book, and a culminating performance event in Santee Alley, an open - air market in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles.
His work has been the focus of
local exhibitions at the New Mexico
Museum of Art, Sam Scott: An American Voice, 1967 - 1997, and the Center for Contemporary Arts, Messages from the Wounded Healers.
For his solo
exhibition Playground
at the
Museum Dhondt - Dhaenens in Belgium,
local artist Thomas Lerooy will present a series of new sculptures and drawings that revolve around a colourful, playful scenography.

local survey of contemporary art to challenge the pre-eminence of the Whitney Biennial.

The Hammer
Museum has just finalized the purchase of a room - sized video installation from her current
exhibition at L&M Arts in Venice, her first
local show since a 1999 survey
at MOCA.
As part of his 2013 survey
exhibition at the
Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, the artist recruited volunteers from among accomplished ceramists and kids in
local schools to build them from clay.
Suber's work has been placed in collections across the country and included in
exhibitions at local institutions such as the Houston
Museum of African American Culture, Project Row Houses, and Sculpture Month Houston.
It included works by iconic international artists such as Andy Warhol as well as works by
local artists including Carol Panaro - Smith and James Hajicek plus David Emitt Adams — whose photographs on objects found in the Sonoran desert were also part of the 2015 Arizona Biennial
exhibition at Tucson
Museum of Art.
Inspired by the popular series of New York - based public programs founded in 2004
at the National Academy
Museum and moderated by David Cohen, The Review Panel Philadelphia will discuss the following four
local exhibitions, chosen in advance by Cohen and his invited panelists, Paddy Johnson, Michael Gallagher, and Andrea Kirsh.
He remained a
local figure, however, known primarily for his printmaking, until Peter Selz,
at the time the new curator of painting and sculpture
at the
Museum of Modern Art, included him in the
exhibition «New Figures of Man» in 1959.

Local Industry Cloth, a collaboratively woven textile created during the
Museum's 2010
